General Description of the project:
– Champasak and Saravane Province are situated 465km southeast of Vientiane.
– Major agricultural products include coffee and tea, and as the region adjoins Thailand and Cambodia, it has great potential as a national trade hub.
– Given the deteriorated water supply facilities and increasing demand that has resulted from continuous economic growth, a new water supply system has become a high priority.
– The region without water supply service has a higher demand for a water supply system because of worsening sanitary conditions.
– Thus, it is more necessary to invest in water supply facilities to satisfy the demand, enhance the regional economy and improve public health and sanitation.

Description of the mission of the Consultant:
The consultant services comprise of the following task:
– GNSS Static Survey.
– Ground Control Survey.
– Water Supply Pipe Line Route Survey: 144km.
– Leveling (including pro-le leveling and lateral-pro-le leveling).
– Existing Facilities and Obstacles.
